Four Day Work Weeks in New Zealand
With post-2020 working models still up in the air, I decided to take a look at what New Zealand companies are publicly announcing four day work weeks, and tracking them via a GitHub repo.
"Hybrid", "the new normal", "wellbeing". Whatever each business has begun calling it, the working model post 2020 has changed the working landscape. While it is an older idea, the four day work week took this opportunity to be whispered amongst workers.
Interested in the concept myself, I decided to check out what's happening in New Zealand - and it turns out, at least publicly, not much. Still, I decided to keep track of who is making moves and put it in the following GitHub repo:
